A 9 hour stroll with good friend Jane Carter covering 31km. We stopped at Old Horns for lunch. I had Cajun Chicken (quite dry) with side order of Onion Rings (huge plate, very greasy!) Then over to Derwent Edge and dropped back down to Strines by Danes Dyke back to Bradfield and Nags Head for a pint of Stout. On the way I licked a cow’s arse
7 mile walk with Jane from Fox House to Higger Tor, followed by pie and pint at the Plough Inn in Bradfield
Walk with Jane, we cracked off 15 miles through beautiful South Yorkshire countryside from Meadowhall down the five weirs walk first and then over to Bradfield and round Agden Reservoir, the weather was perfect, couldn’t have asked for a better day. Pub lunch at The Plough. This is a selfie at the Spider bridge near the Sheffield canal basin.
Friday night at the Leadmill after a full day drinking…with Jane Carter, Jack Straker and Sue Hilton. Jack got us on the guest list for The Wedding Present. Top gig, and then a full night of dancing to club music at the legendary Rise night and LuvDup.
