The Sheffield Star ran a news story on me being awarded my Licentiateship of the Royal Photographic Society (LRPS)
I came joint first with John Dakin in an internal Jessop photography competition. The prize was a trip to Photokina…my first time visiting and a Sigma 70-210mm UC lens.
Graham Armitage organised it all and he arranged for us to meet Mr Yamaki
We stayed in the Arcade Hotel in Cologne and met Yamaki on the Sigma stand over a glass of champagne.
