The Tea Street Band

Absolutely bouncing around at the Rocking Chair to The Tea Street Band, a group I’d not seen or heard before but where headline one I had seen before, Ordnance. Great gig, followed by onward drinking session in Devonshire Cat and The Green Room with Nicola Feetham and Debra Stratford.

Shield Patterns at the Rocking Chair

I saw Shield Patterns play at the Rocking Chair in Sheffield. It wasn’t a very busy gig and I spent a while talking with one half of the duo Richard Knox who’s also owner of the fantastic label Gizeh Records.

Spandril supporting Shield Patterns providing a set featuring modular synths wired up to a Mac, all housed in a large suitcase. And fairy lights half way through the single track.

Black Light Ray at the Rocking Chair

Black Light Ray are guitarists Paul Dorrington and Missy Tassles (with Victor the drum machine) they played at The Rocking Chair in Sheffield supported by jangly, noisy indiepoppers The Sweet Nothings.
