A Venezuelan breakfast prepared by my friend Anto – Perico and Bollito
On the way to Whitby I spotted a sign for Yorkshire Lavender (just north of York) so had a quick look around. It’s fee to enter and a wide variety of plants for sale including mints in all flavours.
My friend Anto from Venezuela showed me how to make one of their traditional dishes – Arepa using P.A.N. corn flour.
I made my first pinch pot at Blue Elephant Studio in Sheffield – a teardrop pot with orange/red glaze. Not happy with the tip where the glaze has missed but otherwise not bad for a first attempt.
An enjoyable evening spent at Bishops House watching performances from Lost Garden and Isis Moray
