Probably my favourite photo from my Photo365 series so far. Almost like a present following the heavy week I’ve had. It’s a Highland cow taken on Baslow Edge in Derbyshire I was out testing the new Tamron 18-270mm lens on a Nikon D90. I’d gone to photograph a sunset and although the sun broke through a couple of times it had totally clouded over when needed.
I got up pretty close to the cow and went for a low angle. I used the Nikon’s built in flash and underexposed the background. I was impressed with the ability of the little internal flash, it certainly lifted this one.
